seamlessly across clusters, automating exploration of their models, and displaying the

They are looking to hire their first Agile Project Manager. Your role will be to help
organise our team of software engineers and to help shape a culture of high-quality
software development athe business. You will be responsible for the project and task
monitoring within the team, tracking progress and issues day-to-day. You will be
working directly with the team to build out an efficient and fit-for-purpose process,
and to facilitate meetings and discussions.

Core Competencies 

  • A solid software engineering background, building software with an agile nmethodology. Comfortable talking about code.
  • Proven project management experience, with an open agile mindset. 
  • Experience with different flavours of agile, and a pragmatic and practical approach to when,why and how to add process.
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills, both for building a rapport with the team as well as communicating with other areas of the business.

 

 

Core Responsibilities

 

  • Coaching and guiding the team in agile methodologies and processes. Propose
  • and implement, with team cooperation, improvements and changes to task  management.
  • Facilitating meetings and discussions, assisting the team to break down and size
  • work into tasks.
  • Monitoring, tracking and communicating progress and issues relating to tasks or
  • the project as a whole. Communicating progress clearly through status reports as
  • and when required.
  • Work with the Lead Engineer, Product Manager and other members of the team to assign work priorities, plan releases, and identify key task dependencies. 

Experience Requirements 

  • 4+ years working experience in software development or related fields.
  • 1-2+ years working as a Scrum Master or Agile Project Manager or related jobs.
  • Experience with multiple agile methodologies (scrum, kanban, XP, etc.)
  • Startup or small company experience.
