Digital Designer - Award-winning Digital Content Agency - Richmond

Our client are an award-winning content agency who are currently seeking a Digital Designer to join their team as Maternity cover.


The role will last up to a year and is a great opportunity for someone to expand their skill set and experience in working with different client. You will combine your creative and technical skillst o produce compelling digital content for some of the world’s biggest brands. Some of their clients includes Coca Cola, Dominos, Heineken, Visa, Lloyds Banking Group, London Stock Exchange and The BBC.


Ideally, you will bring several years of agency experience and will thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven studio environment.


  • You’ll be responsible for working creating assets across a variety of formats and projects, with a strong emphasis on internal communications – online magazines, brochures, portals, templates, e-marketing and brand development. This is a highly diverse role and each day presents a different challenge.
  • Our client also have their own internal software which includes its own online design tool and you will be using this for the majority of your design work, so the flexibility to pick up new tools quickly is absolutely key. Full training will be provided. 
  • You'll join a a small, enthusiastic and friendly creative department, you will be a natural team player, who is adaptable and passionate about delivering a first-class job.
  • As the sole Digital Designer, you’ll be expected to manage freelancers and liaise directly with clients about projects on a regular basis, so people management skills are crucial. You'll be full of ideas and can bring your imagination to the table too!


Essential requirements:


  • ·Ability to quickly learn and utilise internal cloud-based design tool (Training provided)
  • ·Previous experience of maintaining a visual style across multiple projects and platforms
  • ·Happy to work independently as the sole Designer
  • ·Ability to be a creative thinker with advanced skills in design, typography, layout and interactive engagement
  • ·Ideally, at least five years’ experience in an agency environment
  • ·Comfortable with being client facing and interacting with stakeholders
  • ·Expert in Adobe Creative Suite; Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator
  • ·Preferable to have experience in designing for digital platforms – web, mobile, social and emerging platforms
  • ·Video editing, video production, motion graphics, HTML /CSS skills desirable too
