Digital Marketing Executive- Leading Technology MSP - London, City - up to £30k

My client is a well-established managed service provider (MSP), providing outstanding service to a growing number of clients throughout Central London. Client retention is high and a significant percentage of new business comes from client referrals.


As well as supporting their clients’ systems on a day-to-day basis, their designs, delivers and maintains infrastructure projects including installation and upgrades of systems as well as managing complex office moves.  



The Marketing Executive is responsible for supporting the activities of the Marketing Department. They will report directly to the Marketing Manager and support both the Marketing Manager and Managing Director to achieve their Marketing objectives. The goal of the Marketing function is to promote their brand, generate new business leads and cross sell additional services to existing clients. 


Blogger/ Influencer Outreach: (30%) 

  • Write to bloggers/ influencers and build a rapport, comment on posts, send links of our articles and request to guest blog for others.
  • Respond to journalist requests with an aim to generate links and quotes in articles each month. 
  • Carry out other activities to ensure the website is continually gaining new backlinks. 

  Email Marketing: (30%)   

  • Create email marketing campaigns targeted at client retention, cross-selling and lead nurturing.
  • Liaise with copywriters/ designers/ developers where necessary to get plans implemented.
  • Execute the running of the campaigns and monitor the results.
  • Track open and click rates and gather analytics to feedback to Marketing Manager to inform ongoing strategy for future campaigns. 

Event Marketing: (10%) 

  • Assist in the running of one event per quarter targeted to their key verticals.
  • Carry out the logistics planning prior to the event, including the execution of email campaigns to gather attendance; ensuring turnout meets expectations.
  • Ensure the smooth running of events on the day and handling all related administrative tasks.  

Social Media: (10%)  

  • Create and execute social media posting schedules. Review with the Marketing Manager and execute on HubSpot.
  • This will include all new and updated blog content from the their website.
  • Analyse data across platforms and report back to the Marketing Manager on what has been successful, so strategy can be adjusted accordingly.  

Content and Admin : (20%) 

  • Assist with optimizing historical content through updating and repurposing existing blog posts.
  • Systematically add in category tags to historical content.
  • Assist with the creation of new blog articles on an ad-hoc basis. 

Experience required:  

  • 2 years in a Marketing based role 
  • 1 year in Outreach/ Blogging / SM
