My client is looking for someone that can keep them at the forefront of the London catering market with an effective and engaging marketing strategy.

 

They prepare and serve their food with style so you must have an eye for detail and will be dependable for keeping them at the forefront of trends. You’ll need relevant experience in growing a brand and ready to take ownership for driving this exciting and ambitious brand forward.

 

Digital:

 

  • Develop and deliver a Social Media strategy/campaigns
  • Content Creation for social media, websites, paper
  • SEO
  • Email – monthly newsletter | increase database following
  • Create content plans across www.socialpantry.co.uk and www.alexhead.co.uk that is in line with SEO objectives.
  • Create social plans 
  • SEO – paid and organic campaigns across sites to continue to improve search terms.

 

Website

 

  • Project manage any design development to the site for both Social Pantry and Soanes Kitchen
  • Day to day maintenance and seasonal updates

 

Brand

 

  • As they grow, you must ensure the brand is developing consistently and at all times, an accurate representation of who we are.
  • Continue to develop their brand DNA externally and internally.
  • Copy – using SP’s tone of voice, produce copy for all internal and external comms
  • Brand workshops for new starters and re-fresher’s

 

Partnerships

 

  • From experiential to content swaps, proactively hunt out new partnerships and collaborations to creatively draw attention to them and compliment its ongoing growth.

 

Events

 

  • Plan and execute with events team regular supper clubs at their cafe
  • Organise and execute seasonal direct marketing activation to include incentives in line with business objectives e.g Easter, Christmas etc

 

PR Strategy

 

  • Work with part time in-house PR to assist them to deliver the PR strategy (including raising awareness of the CEOs profile) 
  • Seek out ambassador opportunities that spearhead the owner as a key figure in the food industry and as a female entrepreneur in business.
  • Events – plan, execute and analyse appropriate press events that support the growth of the CEO's profile.
  • Support in-house PR, eg with Social Journal – (quarterly magazine), arrange photoshoot, content, project manage design and supply for print. Distribute to key press, clients and other channels.

 

Creative Styling

 

  • Assist event planner with mood board & concept curation for event pitches
  • Prop sourcing
  • On site event styling – flowers, table décor, menus etc

 

Other marketing

 

  •  Monthly marketing round up to share with the wider team, inspire, analyse & look for areas to improve
  • Oversee the reviews and public feedback on the café and catering services.
  • Support with IT and troubleshooting, where possible.

 

New Business

 

 Lead on-going team new business meetings

 React to new business opportunities, supporting events team and CEO

 Support the CEO with completion of pitch and tender documents for new business

 

Food Trends:

 

  • Follow all seasonal, British and catering food trends closely.
  • Understand and appreciate food seasonality throughout the seasons and the menu impact.
  • Present ideas, recipes and inspiration at weekly team meeting.
  • Take an active interest in London food trends, talks, conferences, pop ups, markets and current food affairs.

 

Required Qualifications and Experience:

 

  • Minimum of two years’ experience in a senior marketing role
  • Previous experience in the industry, especially in hospitality and events
  • A bachelor’s degree in Marketing
  • Has or is working towards CIM (not essential)
  • Strong creative writing skills
  • Strong visually creative skills
  • Understanding and experience of developing and running social media
  • Understanding and experience of Google Analytics, SEO
  • Understanding of the London food scene

 

Working Conditions:

 

  • Primarily based in head office, however will be expected to travel as required
  • Primarily a Monday to Friday working week, with occasional weekend or evening work when required
  • You will be expected to attend meetings and report to the company’s managing director and operations director
