Given their position as a provider of cutting-edge enterprise technology to leading financial services organisations, creation of an effective and targeted digital marketing strategy is core to their marketing activity and revenue growth plans. As part of a broader marketing team, they are looking for a dynamic and experienced marketing executive who can lead and drive their digital marketing activities and help them achieve their goals.


You will help develop a digital marketing strategy and execution plan to take their outbound marketing activities to the next level. This is a hands-on role and highly execution focused - you will be expected to own development and implementation of the plan, working closely with the Content Marketing Manager and the Sales organization. Your activity will align with their structured sales and marketing campaign cycle, optimizing the value of their content assets through relevant digital channels in order to generate qualified leads and drive brand awareness. In parallel, you will also look for thought leadership opportunities that can be exploited through digital channels to help reinforce their reputation as a forward looking, market leading fintech firm.


This role will manage all aspects of digital marketing activity, developing an execution plan that optimizes their content assets and supports their broader business goals in their core target markets. Importantly, you will work closely with their broader team to increase customer engagement and ultimately help grow sales.


Reporting to the Head of Marketing, the Digital Marketing Manager is accountable for:


  • Devising strategies to drive online traffic to the company website
  • Tracking activity, conversion rates and making improvements to the website
  • Developing and managing digital marketing campaigns
  • Utilising a range of techniques including paid search, SEO and PPC
  • Overseeing and implementing the social media strategy for the company
  • Managing online brand and product campaigns to raise brand awareness
  • Driving usage of the customer portal by customers and target prospects
  • Improving the usability, design, content and conversion of the company website
  • Implementing tools and processes to track performance for all digital marketing activity
  • Responsibility for planning and budgetary control of all digital marketing activity
  • Evaluating customer research, market conditions and competitor data
  • Review new technologies and keep the company at the forefront of developments in digital marketing


Qualifications and experience requirements of the role:


  • Bachelor degree level education, preferably a marketing or business related discipline
  • Qualified member of the CIM or equivalent
  • Financial markets experience highly beneficial
  • Experience managing PPC, SEO and Affiliate programmes
  • Strong understanding of current online marketing concepts, strategy and best practice
  • Experience in ecommerce, SEO, PPC, email marketing, and social media
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience digital marketing role
  • Proven track record of driving growth in lead generation and customer engagement in a B2B environment
  • Must be a team player and capable of working in a high-performance team
