Overview of the Role

This is an exciting new role, working under the supervision of the Head of Corporate Services, in a market leading financial services company. The company is niche in the marketplace and is consistently expanding it’s client base, by offering innovative and bespoke financial wellness programmes. The role will allow the right candidate to really shape the e-marketing strategy, research and choose providers and deliver a tailored client journey. The key objective is to assist with developing new digital marketing strategies, in order to drive business objectives.

Duties and Responsibilities


  • Explore, review and manage the implementation of new digital formats that would contribute to increased client engagement, sales and retention activities.
  • Contribute to marketing automation strategy around email
  • Review and lead on-boarding of new email marketing supplier
  • Suggest and implement new changes/developments that could support improved client experience
  • Manage the implementation of the content dissemination calendar
  • Brief the Content Writer on client newsletter content requirements and ensure everything is of the highest standard, compliant to FCA rules and delivered on time and on brand
  • Support social media activity
  • Lead person to implement the social media roadmap
  • Liaising with the internal compliance team to ensure all content is FCA compliant and accurate
  • Website- Suggest and implement new changes/developments that could support improved client experience.
  • Track and analyse website traffic flow and provide regular internal reports
  • Identify new trends in digital marketing and weave into the strategy where possible
  • Assist with the development and promotion of our online client information tool
  • Partake in other Marketing & Client Services related projects as and when required


Person Profile


  • Successful previous experience (2 - 3 years) within a Digital Marketing role consistently meeting or exceeding targets, including recent experience working under GDPR regulations
  • High level understanding of GDPR compliant working processes
  • High level of proficiency across E-Marketing, CRMs and Marketing Automation essential
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the business
  • Strong team player
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritise workload
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong work ethic and the ability to work well under pressure
  • Confident with a good sense of humour essential
