Marketing Manager (Performance)- Leading PropTech - Old Street, London (50k)

They are looking for a creative and passionate marketer to lead their online sales growth, manage their brand and shape their approach to digital and product marketing. You’ll need to be highly strategic, analytical and imaginative. You will take responsibility for our customer acquisition channels, including performance marketing, SEO and customer referrals. You’ll manage and optimise performance marketing tests, devise and implement their SEO strategy, work closely with their inside sales team to convert paid leads, and identify other cost-effective routes to market.


Day to day you’ll be embedded in a small, focused, multidisciplinary product team working directly with the founders, product manager, software developers and lawyers. You’ll be contributing to and learning from the core team, and bringing your own expertise and insights to help the business expand and develop.


To succeed in this role you’ll need to be:


  • Great with data. You’ll need to put in place effective measures for your activity. You’ll need to find ways to identify winning and losing strategies quickly and definitively. 
  • Good at improvising. They are often doing things no one’s ever done before. You should be comfortable with inventing your own solutions and making them happen. 
  • A brilliant collaborator. You’ll need to bring people and ideas together from across a fast-moving organisation. 
  • A great judge of creative work. You’ll be making creative judgements every day. You’ll be writing some of your own copy. You’ll be choosing between designs. You’ll need to be comfortable making creative decisions and giving and receiving effective creative feedback.

  • 3+ years digital marketing experience
  • A smart generalist with a passion for data and brilliant user experience
  • Track record of delivering business outcomes
  • Comfortable being accountable in a results-oriented role
  • Familiarity with performance marketing channels
  • Good knowledge of social media
  • Can quickly write clear, accessible copy about new subjects
  • High level of organisation, able to prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment
