My client is working hard to transform the way that people and businesses share content securely in a mobile connected world. Unlike any other approach, their patented technology enables content to be transfered and never 'sent’ ensuring full traceability and control.

Description:

Looking for lead backend developer for their secure messaging and content sharing platform. We value professionalism, initiative, dedication, and a team player attitude.

On a technical level, they are looking for strong CS fundamentals, knowledge of software design patterns, and a track record of delivering maintainable code.

Responsibilities:

You will be building a safer environment for people to share content in, and a reliable platform that gives businesses peace of mind. You will be leading the deployment/build process, implementing new features with clean and well tested backend code, handling the security bug bounty program, giving advice to internal and external stakeholders, optimising database queries, and much more. From day one, we will value your strengths and give you autonomy to shape your work and the company itself.

Requirements:

  • PHP (Symfony, PHPUnit, Doctrine)
  • MongoDB (bonus points for aggregation framework and query optimisation) - Not essential
  • AWS, Azure, vendor agnostic deployments
  • Docker and Docker-Compose
  • Linux system administration
  • Great if you can work in other languages such as Python, Scala, and Javascript
