Overview:

 

A leading Business Development consultancy / Agency in London are seeking a Sales Executive to join their growing team! They are a growing team of 25 based in the City. They are a young and energetic business, with a work-hard, play-hard culture. They work really collaboratively across their four teams – Strategy, Communications, Business Development and Data + CRM.

Role:

 

  • They are looking for a new Business Development Executive to join their BD team.
  • It’s a great position for an ambitious candidate who is looking for a role where they can grow and develop.
  • You’ll be joining the team at an exciting time for the business, as they continue to expand their client portfolio and push into new sectors and new regions around the world.
  • Their clients range from leading creative/digital/experience agencies through to tech giants and disruptors.
  • Based out of Central London, they work around the globe with clients in the UK, US, Europe, China and APAC.
  • Work closely with the wider team to generate attendees to client webinars & events.
  • You will outreach using phone, LinkedIn and email.
  • Support the Business Development team on various client accounts – actively building and nurturing existing new business leads and relationships.
  • Generate new leads from cold by leveraging insight, content, event invites and trends to spark the conversation.
  • Manage the sales process from identification of targets, introducing your clients’ business, scheduling appointments for your client and general account management.
  • Religiously update and maintain each client CRM system.
  • Complete bi-monthly activity reports and walk clients through their opportunity pipeline.
  • Work closely with the Strategy Director and Communications Manager to identify target opportunities and data requirements
  • Self-sourcing new data and contacts through online research and profiling.

 

Skills needed:

 

  • They are looking for a candidate with a strong desire to grow and develop their career in Business Development – with an interest in the marketing/tech sectors.
  • Working as part of a tight-knit team, you’ll be friendly, personable and a good team-player with a strong work ethic.
  • Successful candidates have previously all been able to demonstrate great inter-personal skills, strong sales ability and a willingness to learn and develop.
  • Time-management skills will also be extremely important from the off, as at any one point you may be working for anywhere between 3-6 different agency/tech clients – all with their own targets, objectives and deadlines!

 

COVID-19 considerations – At the moment they are working from home, but they are really excited to get back to their office based in the city, London. Once it's safe to do so they will be getting back there, so while this is a remote role at the moment, it's worth noting that it will be a predominantly office based role when the time is right.
