ROLE

 

  • Field Marketing Analyst
  • All Travel expensed. Driving license may be useful, but not essential
  • £35K-£38K gross pa dependent on experience.

 

 

CANDIDATE:

 

A UK-based starter with strong protein PhD knowledge and, ideally some limited life science commercial experience, for a field marketing role to support all our customer-facing lead generation activities. Any two of the following: fresh-thinking, good energy and an aura of passion for protein expression & purification, analyses or structural biology would be a good starting point. Responsibilities will also include OE 2.0 database administration and distributor stats analyses.

 

BASIC FUNCTION: Summarize the basic purpose of the job)

 

Responsibility for planning and executing primarily protein field marketing campaigns to generate new prospects, improve customer retention, and help achieve the goals of the various strategic initiatives of the Business Units in partnership with the sales and marketing personnel. Responsibilities include database administration for our new lead generation software tool and distributor performance analyses.

 

SCOPE AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF POSITION:

  • Participates in formulating and administering campaigns in support of strategic initiatives and to increase product awareness.
  •  Establishes best protein field marketing practices and implements the needed mechanisms to do so, including sync-up of SalesForce, marketing automation, and other online and media tools.
  •  Helps to review field marketing activities, costs, SOPs, and impact analyses to determine best next steps and most beneficial past steps in service of stated goals and objectives.
  •  Open Explorer is at the heart of their strategy. The candidate will be required to lead on the administration of this digital platform using data stored across many different databases.
  •  As the role supports all our customer-facing lead-generation activities, tracking and monitoring distributor sales performance will be a key responsibility.
  • Confers with Director of Global Field Marketing, Product Managers, R & D, sales and other administrative personnel at the corporate and business unit level to discuss targets, to review achievements and to discuss required changes in goals or objectives resulting from current status and conditions.

 

 

7.Other basic Field Marketing duties:

 

a.Act as the point person for outside, inside and partner marketing and sales teams.

b.Help react to market and company sales performance via field marketing activities.

c.Work closely with business unit product teams to help create go-to-market programs.

dHelp generate leads to drive sales, integrating with SalesForce

e.Help guide the gathering and reporting of customer intelligence to sales teams.

f. Help fine-tune marketing, promotional, and conference plans.

g Create programs that drive brand loyalty.

h Attend trade shows and events to market product, affirm best practices, and maintain market intel.

i.Keep abreast of industry trends, competition, and new opportunities as they might relate to go-to-market practices

j.Develop understanding of product line sand value chain.

 

 

SOFTWARE USED:

 

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Word, Excel (pivot tables, vlookups ideally, working with charts), PowerPoint, Outlook, Google Analytics. The candidate will be trained to use all software such as SalesForce. Most work will use admin panels although some 3rd party tool experience eg payment processing platform such as Stripe would be useful.
