An Award winning Marketing Agency Nr Woking is seeking a Project Manager to join their team.

 

The Role

 

  • As a Senior Project Manager, you will be working on some of their largest client accounts and their many touch points.
  • Working alongside our Account Directors, our Senior Project Managers are expected to run projects from end to end, taking full ownership for the delivery of the project, on time and on budget.
  • Whilst there is no current expectation to line manage junior members of the team, you will be expected to be a role model for any such team members, demonstrating a consistent high level of service for our clients and internally, whilst being passionate about the work we do – a real ambassador for the agency.
  • There will also be the need to manage some of our small clients from end-to-end without the support of an Account Director, so confidence and passion working directly with clients is a must.
  • The focus of this role is to enable smooth delivery of projects for both their clients and their internal team, ensuring accuracy throughout and taking on the responsibility for the quality of work and the communication surrounding the project from beginning to end.
  • As a Senior Project Manager you will own the lifecycle of each project, from working with the Account Director and stakeholders at briefing stage, to enable you to plan the project successfully, right through to the successful delivery of the full scope of the project within the agreed timeline.

 

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

 

  • Managing the development of creative from concept to delivery, working with cross functional teams
  • Owning the title of ‘project lead’ and orchestrating various departments internally and the client to enable successful project delivery
  • Management of all projects using our integrated agency management system to include: job set up, phase structures, scheduling of work, quotes, forecasting and billing
  • Tactical brief writing and driving projects through the business to the point of billing
  • Creating and managing detailed timing plans and ensuring projects remain on track throughout their lifecycle
  • Supporting the Account Directors, contributing to an annual plan for our larger clients and managing the accounts to meet targeted goals
  • Working end-to-end on smaller clients’ projects and activities
  • To work pro-actively with all levels of seniority within the client’s team to ensure all projects are run efficiently
  • To forecast and report on client revenue and profitability
  • Server housekeeping
  • Proofing and quality control

 

Skills and Expertise

 

  • Experience of managing large complex projects
  • A minimum of 3 years experience within another agency (marketing, design or creative agency)
  • Experience and proven track record of relationship management
  • Experience and proven track record of protecting and nurturing clients
  • Ability to grow and maintain solid client relationships and revenue opportunities
  • Ability to take the lead and assume full responsibility for the service that Something Big provides to a client
  • Strong written and oral communication
  • A persuasive communication style
  • Management and motivation of client teams
  • Competence in supervising and mentoring junior team members
  • Problem solving
  • Experience in project costing
  • Meticulous attention to detail and ability to proof check documents before publication
  • Ability to manage time and prioritise time efficiently
  • Flexibility to adjust course when required
  • Ability to work autonomously and prioritise workflow
  • Flexible approach to working hours when needed
  • Experience as part of a cross-functional team, both taking a lead on projects and collaborating to deliver under tight deadlines
  • Experience with Synergist preferred
